B*E*T*A has provided services in six states and currently operates programs all over Northern California, supported by school districts, regional centers, and private payments.

What makes us unique
B*E*T*A has been supporting children and adults affected by disabilities and experiencing severe behavioral challenges in inclusive settings for 15 years. Dr. Marone has been doing so for twice as long. We have regularly demonstrated that individuals who most would consider ineligible for inclusion can be helped to succeed. Much of this springs from a perspective that begins by considering the experience of the individual receiving our support. We look to understand what is bothering the individual, and solve this using behavior analytic techniques, rather than to look at how the individual is bothering others, and solving this. All problem solving occurs in the context of functional analysis, the most modern, scientific approach to improving behavior, utilizing direct instruction and applied behavior analysis techniques.
